The DevTools Engineering team is on a mission to equip engineers with the tools they need to deliver high‑quality products. We provide scalable, self‑serve platforms that streamline development and create a consistent, efficient engineering experience across all product groups. As a DevOps Engineer, you will architect cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure, enhance CI/CD workflows, and strengthen observability practices to support highly reliable and efficient service operations.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE

• Build CI/CD pipelines supporting automated testing, artifact management, deployments, and integrated security scanning.

  
  
  

• Achieve high infrastructure automation coverage through Terraform and Ansible implementations.

  
  
  

• Implement a comprehensive, standardized observability solutions across all products, enabling measurable improvements in monitoring coverage, faster incident detection, and overall operational health

  
  
  

• Deliver fully implemented Kubernetes on‑prem clusters and EKS environments from the ground up, along with scalable and secure AWS infrastructure to support cloud‑native workloads.

  
  
  

• Be responsible for advanced debugging and troubleshooting around various Kubernetes platform issues both On-prem and EKS

  
  
  

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING

• You will implement and manage advanced AWS cloud environments from scratch to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient foundations for enterprise workloads.

  
  
  

• You will design and build Kubernetes‑based container platforms (EKS) from the ground up to enable cloud‑native application deployments with high availability and strong operational consistency.

  
  
  

• You will design and implement end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines—including automated testing, deployment workflows, and security scanning tool integrations, to improve delivery speed, code quality, and overall release reliability.

  
  
  

• You will implement complete observability solutions including monitoring, logging, alerting, and health dashboards to ensure deep visibility, proactive issue detection, and operational excellence.

  
  
  

• You will build and manage complete infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and configuration management using Ansible to deliver repeatable, version‑controlled, and fully automated environment provisioning.

  
  
  

• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and support high-quality decision-making.

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
