OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

• Ensure SAP security and authorization services are provided for the ERP projects and other initiatives in time with expected high level of quality and high degree of customer satisfaction.
• Drive the SAP security and authorization of service operations by monitoring, advising and bringing expertise in defining service management for ERP support in area of security and authorization, making Product Services more agile, product centric and delivering service excellence.
• Partner with peers in the Operating Excellence, Platform and Architectural Services lines to drive continuous improvements of service processes, user experiences, infrastructure and application optimization.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Accountable for designing, developing, troubleshooting, reviewing, deploying and maintaining SAP Security and Authorization services for ERP Projects and other initiavtes
• Ensure all Security and Authorization deliverables are aligned to the ERP standards with regards to an aligned and streamlined role development execution; ensuring that security and authorization standards are followed across the backend and cloud based SAP solutions
• Execute necessary requirements to ensure that the ERP environment delivers high-quality user experiences and security and authorization services on a consistent and supportable global platform
• Support product developments, ensure all security and authorization deliverables are in alignment with the release management planning and Country deployments whilst guarding the technical architecture and landscape management
• Drive the development of the ERP services in areas of accontability by monitoring, advising and bringing expertise in service managament to ensure that Product Services is acting more agile, product centric and providing service excellence
• Participate in the execution and deployment of continuous improvements for the area of responsibility
• Ensure that IT Service Management for Delivery Service meet the Service Level Agreements agreed with the stakeholders
• Ensure that the IT environment meets all applicable regulatory, quality, legal, and compliance requirements - including licensing of software and data protection acts (DPA, GDPR, etc.)
• Ensure all development is delivered in accordance with all applicable compliance requirements, e.g. SOX, GxP
• Adhere to the organization’s strategy for managing SAP systems and the policies, standards, procedures and methods necessary to implement the strategy.

DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

• Experienmce in development and implemented complete security redesign plans and documented security procedures, user guidelines, etc.
• Troubleshooting SAP security problems by using different scenarios such as system trace and other SAP security transactions in order to find system security problems.
• Worked with functional experts and business process owners and to get business process been correctly reflected in security model.
• Experience in SAP GRC (configuring, maintained and utilization) for compliance and security purposed a strong plus
• Experience in SAST GRC Suite is beneficial
• Provide oversight of AMS teams day to day technical support and resolution of Security issues.
• Worked on implementation of personas concepts and derived security and authorization implications such as single, master and derived roles
• Experience with SAP MDG experience and SAP BI is a strong plus.

• Experience working in matrix environment and in on /offshore model - with colleagues with different backgrounds and areas of expertise
• Experience working with multiple service provider for AMS and Project Delivery
• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a digestible way

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Required:

• Min. 5-8 years of IT work experience, which includes project management experience, and people management experience (small and medium size projects)
• Technical expertise in SAP Security and Authorization solution areas
• Solution expertise in multiple SAP solution areas
• Security and Authorization experience, including role design, development, assignment, and delivery for full lifecycle implementations for major application implementation; from project initiation till handover to operations. Experience in working in SAP GRC
• Capable of understanding and designing of the security and authorization solution from requirements gathering, technical design through to role creation and assignment level and promoting up through the SAP landscape ensuring compliance to all deployment and regulatory standards, including new technologies like BTP based components.
• Communication – ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner
• Data Management – ability to utilize data collection, analysis, maintenance application and refinement methods to make fact based decisions
• Analytical Skills – ability to analyze a wide variety of data and make appropriate decisions.
• Practice efficient time management and coordinates tasks, working in an international environment.
• Bachelors or other advanced degree

Desired:

• Master’s degree.
• In-depth Pharmaceutical industry and drug development experience.
