Communication and Stakeholder Interaction
The role requires constant, frequent, and occasional communication with internal and external stakeholders, including managers, employees, team members, corporate functions (Finance, HR, Facilities), MBRDI suppliers, and candidates. Communication aims to ensure alignment with business strategies, project updates, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: B.E. (any field) or M.B.A. in General Administration or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 12+ years in automotive tech or software engineering.
- Expertise in managing projects with growth impact, digitalization initiatives using KPIs, and strong knowledge of Azure/AWS cloud platforms and Data & AI landscapes.
- Innovation contribution and intercultural awareness, promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Proficiency in driving data strategy from demand management to implementation.
- Trusted advisor capabilities with proactive communication on operational status, risks, and issues.
- Product conceptualization using design thinking, business canvas, and open-source approaches.
- Leadership in internal consulting, stakeholder management, cost optimization, vendor management, and adherence to Mercedes-Benz IT governance and methodologies.
- Promoting continuous improvement and innovation, participation in data communities, and organizational initiatives .
Specific Technical Knowledge and Skills
- Software development background with Python and React/JS family.
- Experience in Agile development teams with SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in international teams.
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Apache Spark, Kafka, NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Cloud-native development, Linux OS, containers, Kubernetes, and networking skills.
- Business fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage .
