Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Functions under the oversight and supervision of the Telecom Leadership
- Prepare and/or check structural calculations for telecommunications towers, equipment mounts, and other antenna supporting structures
- Prepare and/or check design drawings and calculations for telecommunications tower upgrades, foundation upgrades, new structures and/or installation of equipment on buildings
- Work with internal technical processes to ensure the quality of all work
- Use standard structural engineering software
- Prepare and review written reports
- Use the internet or reference documents to determine site specific jurisdictional requirements
Qualifications:
- 1 to 5 years of structural engineering experience in the Wireless Telecom industry
- MTech and/or BTech Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Working knowledge of building codes and analysis and design procedures
- Proficiency in tnx Tower, Risa-3D, and other typical industry analysis software
- Proficiency in Spoken and Written English language
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Experience in AutoCAD drafting is a plus
- Excellent organization skills
- Detail-oriented, function in a multi-task environment, follow complex instructions, and meet fast-paced deadlines
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
- Ability to work overtime as required to meet client deadlines
