Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Chennai, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our entire supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products to our customers.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the end-to-end supply chain process
• Manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and plan production schedules
• Oversee logistics and transportation operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing
• Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
• Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies
• Implement and maintain supply chain management software systems
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity

• B.E (Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering) or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 15+ years of experience in supply chain management or related field
• Proficiency in supply chain management software
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and forecasting
• Expertise in inventory management, logistics, and transportation management
• Proven track record in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and trends in supply chain management
• Understanding of global trade regulations and compliance

- Well verse in Supply Chain management/ inventory management.

- Have exposure in casting, electronics parts, machining commodity 

- Worked in MNC culture with multi-site handling 

- Lean production system
