Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer with expertise in Beckhoff safety PLC programming. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of industrial safety standards, including the Machine Directive and Semiconductor safety requirements. As a lead, you will be responsible for executing risk assessments, calculating performance level using Sistema and play a crucial role in leading and executing Semi S2 certifications on new and revised products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and program Beckhoff safety PLC systems to meet industry standards and requirements.
- Execute risk assessments and ensure overall compliance with applicable industrial safety standards.
- Calculate performance level using Sistema and implement necessary improvements.
- Support to ensure full UL compliance for the entire electrical system design
- Lead and execute Semi S2 certifications on NPI projects with EHS and third party stakeholders
- Serve as the point of contact for internal Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) matters related to product safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to ensure compliance and adherence to safety standards.
- Stay updated with the latest industry regulations and recommend improvements to enhance product safety.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Bonus: Additional Know-how and Experience in electrical panel design and/or Beckhoff PLC programming is of advantage
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in Beckhoff safety PLC programming.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial safety standards, such as the Machine Directive and Semiconductor safety requirements and UL standard
- Strong expertise in executing risk assessments and calculating performance level using Sistema.
- Familiarity with Semi S2 certifications and NPI projects.
- Of advantage is Experience in electrical panel design and/or Beckhoff PLC programming.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead and work collaboratively within cross-functional global teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and self-motivated mindset.
- Willingness to travel and collaborate with other teams locally
