As a Territory Account Manager you will be developing sales plans, strategies, and final presentations crafted to meet customer needs and you will be enhancing growth of sales for Enclosure product brand. This position requires travel throughout the Karnataka State, to call on existing and prospective customers to uncover opportunities and solicit orders.
Be a market expert, by analyzing Customer Potential, Generating Opportunities, Preparing Techno Commercial Offers, Strategically Chasing the Offers submitted to Customers.
Build strong partnerships with Customers (Direct Accounts) & Channel Partners and consistently develop the customer base.
Find opportunities with Machine Builders, Panel Builders, System Integrators, End-users and Consultants.
Devise, implement and apply a follow up system and metrics to monitor success rate.
Grow, analyze and develop current sales business and identify further growth. Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into database
Be the Voice of the Customer, while supporting with necessary reports and surveys as requested by product management team.
Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from networks, media, business directories, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources and promptly follow up marketing leads and other customer-based actions.
Work closely with resources in other functions (e.g. Product Management, R&D, Sales Operation, Head of Division and Marketing)
Achieve or exceed assigned sales and margin targets for the Region and Markets. Formally provide input on pricing, delivery and other sales influencing factors to Regional Business Unit
Commercially manage sales margins for best return and business growth.
Lead Customer consultations and negotiations.
Co-operate with the team of MEA sales leaders
Use in your daily activity tools& systems as: CRM, Sales Forecasting, Sales Calendar.
As other organizational needs arise, disuss with management other responsibilities besides the ones listed in this document.
Keep close contact to the management, for developments and occurrences which are impactful, as well as about all upcoming decisions which require approval
University Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Automation Engineering or Business Administration, MBA (would be an advantage)
Ideally 10+ years experience, in technical sales, within a target driven organisation and previous exposure to international companies.
Proven track record in growing top line sales and the ability to work in large geographic territories.
Outstanding teammate, great communicator, forming and maintaining fruitful partnerships with both external and internal interested parties!
Strong negotiations skills, strongly focused on the customer and on consultative selling.
With great time-management skills, you are comfortable in working without close supervision.
You maintain a self-motivated approach, you are a problem solver and a fast learner!
