Job Summary We are seeking a Tosca Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing to work in a client-facing Agile environment.
The role involves close collaboration with clients, SMEs, product owners, and internal QA teams to understand sprint scope, identify automation opportunities, build a scalable automation framework, execute test cases, and provide clear, actionable test reports to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Act as a client-facing QA resource, working closely with SMEs, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to understand application functionality and sprint scope.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with manual testing teams to identify test scenarios suitable for automation.
Perform manual testing activities including functional, regression, and system testing.
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca.
Create reusable Tosca modules, test cases, and execution lists.
Execute automated test cases during sprint cycles, regression runs, and release validations.
Analyze test results, log defects, and work closely with development teams for defect resolution.
Prepare and share test execution reports, automation metrics, and quality status updates with clients and internal stakeholders.
Continuously improve automation coverage, test efficiency, and quality assurance processes.
An overall 6-8 years of experience in testing, with relevant experience of around 4 years in Tosca automation testing.
Experience in testing Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)/Hybrid Frameworks.
Good understanding of test automation frameworks (data-driven, keyword-driven, hybrid, etc).
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, practices, and tools (ex.
, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, Jira).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
