Transition Manager - Engineering Services

About the Role:


As a Transition Manager in our Engineering Services team, you'll be the driving force behind seamless project handovers and operational continuity. This pivotal role demands a strategic mindset, exceptional coordination skills, and a passion for optimizing complex processes. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring our engineering projects transition smoothly between teams and phases, maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and implement comprehensive transition plans for engineering projects, processes, and systems


• Coordinate with diverse stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, clients, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth handovers


• Identify and mitigate risks associated with transitions, developing strategies to address potential challenges


• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations throughout the transition process


• Manage knowledge transfer between teams, maintaining project momentum and minimizing disruptions


• Oversee system integrations, ensuring compatibility and data integrity


• Organize training sessions for receiving teams on new processes, tools, or systems


• Implement quality assurance checks to maintain work standards during and after transitions


• Monitor transition progress, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks


• Create detailed documentation and reports on transition activities for future reference and continuous improvement


What We're Looking For:


• Proven experience in engineering project management or transitions, preferably in a corporate environment


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with various stakeholders


• Keen analytical abilities for risk assessment and mitigation


• Proficiency in relevant project management software and ERP systems


• Adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate complex transition scenarios


• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in engineering and project management
