Internal Audit Manager

Job Scope:

The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for verifying the financial status and operating procedures of the company through a systematic program of audits to optimize efficiency.

·Assists in development of the company's annual audit plan.

·Manages performance of audit assignments, reviews work-papers and audit reports; edits reports prepared by other auditors.

·Schedules and plans audits; initiates project planning, assess risk and develops audit direction.

·Performs preliminary planning and establishes direction for audits, provides leadership to assigned auditors, manage project to quality outcomes, while meeting established time budget.

·Performs audit work, including plan preparation, workpapers, finding, and associated reports; verifies the accuracy of financial records as they pertain to assets, liabilities, receipts, expenditures, and related transactions.

·Support and provide assurance on the roll out of technical standards, relevant legislative requirements, internal policies and guidance to ensure compliance is achieved across all aspects of the company.

·Developing good quality relationships with management, team members and peers

·Training staff and seniors on audit methodology, project management and soft skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

·Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.

·Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

·Excellent communication skills.

·Excellent attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements:

·BA in Accounting, business, Finance, or any related field.

·10-12 years of experience.

·Certifications such as CMA, CPA are highly preferable.

·Fluency in English and Arabic.
