The responsibility of this position is to gain, develop, plan, Coordinate, sell and promote the company’s logistics services to customers by conducting daily sales calls & Visits to ultimately achieve monthly set sales targets. The Sales Executive should manage and develop relationships with existing and potential customers by following up on their logistics needs to serve with quality customer service. The sales executive manages shipping trades to earn customer’s loyalty in order to sustain the business and grow the company’s Market share.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY
·Identify commercial market opportunities and prospect and follow up with customers to develop and monitor the customer’s portfolio.
·Plan and conduct the commercial visit according to the commercial action plan and produce visit reports as required by management.
·Sell the company’s products and services and advise customers on specific transport modalities to sell to customers the solution best fitted to their needs.
·Upload visits feedback and market research information’s on the company’s CRM system and ensure update commercial data in the information system – Cargo wise
·Receive customer’s requests, qualify in priority, and process their requests in coordination with sales support and operation teams.
·Constantly promote new services and value-added services to customers.
·Help maintain market ID.
·Create and follow up on customers complains.
·Achieve sales targets as agreed with the sales manager.
·Conduct field visits to target customer segments and prepare visit reports to be submitted to the direct manager timely.
·Expanding the customer data base by maintaining existing customers and attracting new customers through regular communication reach via phone calls, emails or field visits.
·Record the necessary data on the appropriate system in preparation for the operations team to complete processing of the shipment and issue invoice.
·Follow up & Apply Department monthly, quarterly & yearly products, initiatives & tasks set my department manager / management
·Attend all required Local & Global trainings & sessions
·Collecting the company's receivables from clients.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge & Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in (BA/BSc)
•5-10 years sales related experience, including Ocean, Land & Air Freights, for both import & Export.
•Relevant job knowledge and experience.
