Job Description

Summary of the role:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Process and record journal entries.
  • Handle and book suppliers' and clients' invoices.
  • Process and book bank transactions on a weekly basis.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations for suppliers, clients, and intercompany accounts.
  • Conduct weekly bank and cash reconciliations.
  • Calculate and post monthly asset depreciation.
  • Process accruals and prepaid expenses on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end closing schedules.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.
