Azure DevOps & GitHub Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps & GitHub Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting modern DevOps practices, with a focus on automation, CI/CD pipelines, and source code management. This role requires strong expertise in Azure DevOps and GitHub, along with a passion for enabling development teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

  
  
  

• Source Control Management: Administer GitHub repositories, enforce branching strategies, and manage permissions.

  
  
  

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and maintain IaC solutions using tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.

  
  
  

• Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to streamline workflows.

  
  
  

• Monitoring & Optimization: Ensure pipeline performance, reliability, and security; proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.

  
  
  

• Collaboration: Partner with development, QA, and operations teams to promote DevOps best practices.

  
  
  

• Security & Compliance: Apply secure coding practices, manage secrets, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

  
  
  

• Continuous Improvement: Drive adoption of modern DevOps methodologies, tools, and practices across teams.

  
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts).

  
  
  

• Proficiency in GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.

  
  
  

• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and DevOps culture.

  
  
  

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred).

  
  
  

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

  
  
  

• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

  
  
  

• Knowledge of security practices in DevOps workflows.

  
  
  

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.

  
  
  

• Exposure to multi-cloud environments.

  
  
  

• Background in software development (C#, Java, or similar).

  
  
  

• Certification in Azure or DevOps-related technologies
