Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, design, and execution of electrical engineering projects within utilities operations.
Oversee development of electrical schematics, specifications, and system layouts.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and local electrical codes.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and system performance evaluations.
Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and cross-functional teams.
Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and technical documentation.
Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across engineering teams.
Drive innovation, energy efficiency optimization, and reliability improvements.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong knowledge of utility electrical systems (transmission, distribution, substations).
Expertise in electrical design tools and engineering software (AutoCAD, ETAP or equivalent).
Experience with safety and regulatory compliance standards.
Ability to lead engineering teams and large-scale projects.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of smart grid technologies and digital utility solutions.
Understanding of renewable energy integration and energy storage systems.
Experience with automation, SCADA, or protection systems.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
