Senior Project Controls Manager

The project:

Manages and/or leads the implementation and delivery of a range of PMO and Project controls to support commissions. Leads and guides team members within the PMO and Planning Centre of Excellence and assigned Hub as required.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Lead the programme controls team, integrating Client and Mace colleagues to deliver document control, scheduling, dependency management, and performance reporting.

  
  

• Establish and embed PMO processes, define KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across programme controls functions.

  
  

• Design and deliver onboarding packs and workshops, ensuring programme controls requirements are clearly communicated across the supply chain.

  
  

• Conduct audits of consultants, contractors, and developers, assuring compliance and implementing improvement actions where required.

  
  

• Deliver training workshops to build capability and confidence in programme controls processes among Client teams and supply chain partners.

  
  

• Collaborate with the digital team to establish master data sets, implement programme architecture, and streamline change management.

  
  

You’ll need to have:

• Proven leadership in PMO and Project Controls across complex construction programmes.
• Strong expertise in risk tools, analytics, and reporting technologies.
• Professional qualifications with progress toward chartered status and industry accreditation.
• Relevant degree and experience delivering PMO services within construction or consultancy.
