Applications Developer 3 - Project Lead

In this key role, you will design and develop next-generation ERP capabilities by leveraging both in-house and external AI platforms. You'll build reusable agents, intelligent connectors, and orchestration workflows—hand-crafting innovative solutions that simplify complex integrations and unlock real business value for our global enterprise customers.

Advanced AI Development: Leverage leading AI tools and frameworks—including LLMs, GenAI platforms, vector databases, orchestration engines, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)—to build, train, and deploy intelligent agents, automations, and workflow components.

Agentic AI Studio: Innovate using Oracle's Agentic AI Studio—collaborating on both internal development and production-ready, customer-facing agents that automate, streamline, and optimize ERP integrations and processes.

AI-Enhanced Integration: Design and deliver agent-driven solutions that anticipate, route, and resolve integration challenges—using AI to enable self-healing, adaptive, and context-aware ERP cloud operations.

Continuous AI Platform Improvement: Contribute code, best practices, and architectural guidance to Oracle's internal AI platforms and 
integration frameworks, scaling their impact across cloud teams and product lines.

Seamless Enterprise Adoption: Collaborate with product, architecture, and field engineering teams to transition AI-infused features from internal innovation to robust, secure, and compliant in-product solutions for enterprise customers.

Prototyping and Experimentation: Rapidly evaluate and adapt emerging AI/ML tools, open-source libraries, prompt engineering methods, and agent orchestration platforms—driving continuous improvement and cross-team adoption.

Champion Security, Ethics, and Compliance: Implement rigorous data security, privacy, and AI ethics standards within all AI-driven features, ensuring trust and compliance with enterprise regulations.
 

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years' enterprise-scale software development experience, with a measurable track record in AI/ML-driven product engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Java, or similar languages.
• Expert in REST API design, development, delivery, and cloud integrations.
• Proven experience in cloud applications architecture, development, and debugging (Oracle or similar SaaS/Cloud platforms).
• Hands-on expertise in AI/GenAI, including RAG frameworks, AI agents, large language models, and vector databases/search.
• Demonstrated expertise in deploying AI-driven microservices, distributed systems, and APIs—including integration with cloud-native ERP, CRM, or business platforms.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks, prompt engineering, vector search/databases, and dynamic workflow automation.
• Hands-on with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), CI/CD, and best-in-class DevOps for AI solutions.
  
• Integrate Oracle ERP Cloud with external third-party systems using REST APIs, web services, microservices, and appropriate middleware.
  
• Design and implement data security frameworks and features for ERP applications, ensuring compliance with enterprise security and privacy best practices.
  
• Develop, optimize, and maintain next-generation microservices and cloud-native applications, utilizing REST APIs, business events, and audit frameworks.
  
• Deep understanding of security, privacy, and responsible AI principles in the enterprise.
• Experience in developing batch processing and ETL flows for large-scale enterprise data.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience delivering solutions in Oracle ERP Cloud or related ERP domains.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (Oracle, AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Experience with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Previous contributions to commercial GenAI, LLM-based, or agentic product deployments in large-scale enterprise applications.
