The Role: Assistant Manager, Sales Crediting
Work Shift: Evening/Night (Rotational).
The Team: The MI Commission team is integral to the Market Intelligence division, managing and executing sales incentives for a division with over $4.5B in Revenue and approximately 1,500 employees on commission plans. As a global team spanning the USA, Canada, UK, and Pakistan, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences to our sales team. We ensure accurate and motivating commission plans, driving revenue growth and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
Responsibilities and Impact:
1. Lead the sales crediting team to ensure accurate ingestion of sales results from Salesforce.
2. Oversee the correct loading of sales data into Xactly, ensuring timely and accurate payments to the sales team.
3. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of sales crediting operations.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve data quality.
5. Manage and mentor team members to foster a high-performance culture focused on accuracy and timeliness.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Strong experience in sales operations or crediting within a sales environment.
3. Proficiency with Salesforce and commission software like Xactly.
4. Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
1. Advanced degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. Experience with process improvement and automation in sales operations.
3. Familiarity with data management and ETL tools.
4. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
5. Experience working with Smartsheet, Tableau or PowerBI, Anaplan, Alteryx
What Success Looks Like in 2025:
- Establish a streamlined process for accurate and timely ingestion of sales data from Salesforce into Xactly.
- Achieve a high level of accuracy and efficiency in sales crediting, minimizing errors and discrepancies.
- Implement automation and process improvements that enhance the speed and reliability of sales crediting operations.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment that consistently meets or exceeds performance targets.
- Develop comprehensive reporting and analytics to provide insights into sales crediting performance and areas for improvement.
