Key Responsibilities:- Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support Informatica ETL pipelines for Enterprise Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Operational Data Stores.
- Design and implement data modeling strategies, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry standards.
- Establish and maintain a robust data cataloging discipline, ensuring comprehensive metadata management and data lineage documentation.
- Perform advanced data cleansing, transformation, merging, change data capture, and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize SQL queries and perform SQL tuning to enhance data pipeline performance.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.
- Provide mentorship and performance improvement guidance to team members.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth integration and deployment using GitHub or other version control systems.
- Schedule and monitor workflows using Informatica and batch scripting tools.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including design specs, test cases, and operational guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:- 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-class data pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter, SQL Server, and Control-M.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS/IDMC).
- Expertise in building and designing ETL pipelines for various data storage solutions like Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Operational Data Stores.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL (T-SQL, DB2 SQL) with strong skills in stored procedures, packages, triggers, and views.
- Proven experience in Dimensional Modeling and strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
- Experience with all aspects of ETL process design, including performance tuning and SQL plan analysis.
- Familiarity with batch scripting on Windows and scheduling workflows with automation tools.
- Proven ability to lead efforts in data governance and establish best practices for maintaining a data catalog.
- Experience in version control practices and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub or similar tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Skills:- Experience with databases in an enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with Informatica workflow scheduling and monitoring tools.
- Exposure to large-scale data migration or modernization projects.
- Hands-on experience in Agile environments with a focus on iterative development.
