Java Backend Engineer

About the role:

We’re looking for a Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team, developing server-side applications using Java Spring Boot in a collaborative, agile environment. What You Will Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Java Spring Boot
  

  
  

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise-level systems
  

  
  

• Write, execute, and maintain unit tests using frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock
  

  
  

• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to manage and optimize data storage
  

  
  

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and contribute to deployment automation using Docker and Kubernetes
  

  
  

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in design and development
  

  
  

• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and leads to deliver high-quality solutions
  

  
  

• Follow version control standards using Git and maintain clear documentation throughout development
  

  
  

What We Are Looking For:

• Up to 3 years of experience with Java 8 or above
  

  
  

• Clear understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
  

  
  

• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security
  

  
  

• Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation
  

  
  

• Familiarity with markup languages such as JSON and YAML
  

  
  

• Understanding of microservices architecture, UML, and design patterns
  

  
  

• Experience with AWS (ECS, ECR, RDS, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, S3) is preferred
  

  
  

• Knowledge of code quality and security tools (SonarQube or Fortify) is preferred
  

  
  

• Knowledge of stateless application development is preferred
