Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee, Benefit & Payroll Accounting– RTR
The person is responsible for all accounting activities related to employee benefit programs, ensuring accurate recording, tracking, and reconciliation of benefit expenses and liabilities. The person works closely with HR, payroll, and external vendors to resolve issues, maintains compliant and timely reconciliations, and supports audits by providing required documentation and clear explanations of benefit-related financial activity.
Responsibilities:
• Accounting for all employee benefit programs, including health, retirement, and wellness plans.
• Recording, tracking, and reconciliation of benefit-related expenses and liabilities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual benefit accounting reports.
• Monitor variances in benefit accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with HR, payroll, and external vendors to resolve benefit accounting issues.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• BCOM / MCOM
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Experience in accounting, with specific exposure to benefits accounting or compensation-related financial processes.
• Experience working with HR, payroll, and external benefit vendors.
• Familiarity with GAAP and regulatory requirements related to employee benefits.
• Experience with financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, or SmartView.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders
