In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

• As a Quality Engineer with expertise in Middleware, you will focus on testing applications and systems, executing test cases for SOA, WebServices, and Middleware integration concepts. You will develop test scenarios and test cases, and verify that the system is built according to requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Develop Test Scenarios: Create test scenarios and test cases to ensure the system meets requirements, focusing on functional and non-functional testing at the component integration layers.
• Execute Test Cases: Execute test cases for SOA, WebServices, and Middleware integration concepts, verifying system functionality and identifying defects.
• Manage Environment Availability: Build environment availability and refresh plans, ensuring day-to-day environment management tasks are completed efficiently.
• Verify System Integration: Understand and manage inter-application dependencies, ensuring seamless integration between components.
• Test Interface Invocation: Invoke application interfaces using integration protocols such as WebServices, MQ, JMS, and RMI to validate system functionality.

• Exposure to Middleware Testing: Experience with testing applications and systems, executing test cases for SOA, WebServices, and Middleware integration concepts.
• Understanding of Integration Protocols: Familiarity with invocation of application interfaces using integration protocols such as WebServices, MQ, JMS, and RMI.
• Experience with Test Case Development: Exposure to developing test scenarios and test cases to ensure system meets requirements, focusing on functional and non-functional testing.
• Knowledge of Environment Management: Understanding of day-to-day environment management tasks, including building environment availability and refresh plans.
• Familiarity with Component Integration: Experience with understanding and managing inter-application dependencies, ensuring seamless integration between components.

• Middleware Integration Knowledge: Exposure to testing applications and systems, executing test cases for SOA, WebServices, and Middleware integration concepts is beneficial.
• Additional Protocol Familiarity: Familiarity with other integration protocols beyond WebServices, MQ, JMS, and RMI can be advantageous in this role.
