Job Role / Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager Electronics Biomedical Engineering (BME), we are looking for an experienced and highly skilled individual to join our team as a Specialist, in Biomedical Electronics Engineering.
The incumbent will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality technical services to the relevant team of Biomedical engineering.
As a specialist, he/she will provide expert-level support and assist the department head / Manager in the management of the medical equipment maintenance program under his area of responsibilities which include but are not limited to.

Main Responsibilities:
- Perform repairing, preventive maintenance, validation, and calibration of Hi-tech Electronics, building automation and security systems.
- Provide support and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, administrators, FMD, IT departments, Design, procurement, and other stakeholders, to understand and meet the biomedical-Electronics needs.
- Periodically supervise and check the quality of work and effectiveness of other team members.
- Accountable for maintaining key performance targets, safety standards and performance assurance to pursue requirements of accrediting bodies in the assigned areas.
- To provide technical and administrative support in the internal audits, incident management and RCA.
- Execute efficient management of the department's budget, helping establish budget estimates, ensuring effective use of resources and assisting in ensuring that expenditure is controlled within agreed cash limits in compliance with the hospital’s financial instructions
- Establish and maintain communication links to ensure vertical and lateral effective communication.
- Establish work schedules and job responsibilities in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for the Biomedical Engineering department.
- Train and direct employees to establish a high level of job competency and mentor junior employees to develop their skill set.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
- Managing and maintaining appropriate stock and inventory of critical equipment and spares.
- Identifying gaps and enhancing the existing BME operation processes as well as adopting innovative solutions to enhance the system.
- Complete ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

- Vendor Management: Proficiency in managing relationships with equipment vendors and ensuring timely delivery of services.
- Extensive knowledge of Maintenance of IOT enable ELV systems;
- Maintenance and rectifying the issues related to advanced level of IOT-enabled centralised software
- Maintenance of Hardware and software of the CCTV system.
- Maintenance of Hardware and software of Fire alarm system
- Maintenance of hardware and software of Nurse call system
- Maintenance of Hardware and software of Central announcement system.
- Maintenance of Hardware and software of Wireless communication system.
- Experience of handle and operate computerize maintenance management software.
- Depth of understanding, knowledge and experience in handling different projects and the ability to read and understand the technical/ design layout.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of recommending and implementing effective solutions.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
Applicant should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from an HEC-recognized university with 07 years of technical and management experience.
OR
- Bachelor’s equivalent technical Degree with At least 7 years of Experience.
- Strong communication, and people management skills.
- The ability to work under pressing timelines in a competitive environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multi-task and prioritize execution.
- The ability to work independently as well as a team player.
- Technical, managerial, analytical, interpersonal, project management and organization skills.
- The ability to learn technical concepts, new skills, and knowledge quickly.
