Job Description:

Systems Limited is looking for a highly skilled Senior Android Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Kotlin and Java, a deep understanding of Android architecture, and a strong grasp of best practices in Android development.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
2. Build modern UI components using Jetpack Compose for enhanced user experience.
3. Integrate Android applications with RESTful APIs for seamless data communication.
4. Utilize third-party libraries and APIs effectively to enhance application functionality.
5. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following industry best practices.
6. Monitor the performance of live apps, troubleshoot issues, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
7. Implement well-known design patterns such as Builder, Singleton, Factory, Repository, etc., to ensure maintainability and scalability.
8. Work with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow to enhance app performance and manage asynchronous tasks efficiently.
9. Design and implement scalable mobile architectures using frameworks such as MVVM, MVI Clean Architecture.
10. Utilize Android Architecture Components such as ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Paging, and Navigation.
11. Implement Dependency Injection frameworks such as Dagger 2.0 and Dagger Hilt.
12. Follow Clean Architecture principles and write unit and functional tests to ensure high-quality, robust applications.
13. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automating build and deployment processes using GitHub Actions and and Flows.
14. Ensure application security best practices, including secure data storage, authentication, and encryption techniques.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java with experience in modern Android development practices.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Android SDKs, and UI frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Android SDKs and Google’s Material Design guidelines.
• Hands-on experience with multithreading, background processing, and concurrency in Android applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to app optimization.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
