Utilities Artisan

Overview The role is responsible for the safe, reliable operation and maintenance of critical plant utilities to ensure uninterrupted supply of steam, compressed air, power, chilled water, process water, nitrogen, LPG vaporization, dehumidification, firefighting systems, and wastewater treatment. The incumbent will drive preventive/predictive maintenance, support continuous improvement (Kaizen/CI) and productivity/ReCon initiatives, maintain strong documentation and SOP governance, and ensure full compliance with EHS, AIB/FS, and PeMM requirements while working flexibly across shifts. Responsibilities • The required candidate should have sound hands-on experience on Operation & Maintenance of following Utilities. - Steam Boiler (Bosch) - Murphy - Stack condensate Recovery system - Biomass Boiler - Air Compressors & Refrigerant Dryers (Atlas Copco) - Electricity Diesel Generators (Cummins) - Bump less Synchronization System (Deep Sea) - Burners (Weishaupt) - N2 Plant Compressors, Desiccant Dryers & Generators (Gardner Denver) - Electrical & Absorption Chillers (Trane, LG) - Process Water Deep Well Turbines, RO Treatment & Process Pumping - Steam & Electrical Dehumidifiers - Air Handling Units - LPG Vaporizers - Waste Water Treatment Plant - Fire Fighting Water Pumps & Sprinkler System • The candidate should be fully versed & knowledgeable about SAP PM, predictive & preventive maintenance & must be computer literate with good writing skills. • The candidate will be responsible to implement Kaizen/CI projects in their designated focus area to improve reliability and optimize utility performance and costs. • The candidate will develop, review, and regularly update operational and maintenance SOPs for their assigned utility equipment; ensure adherence through proper shift execution and handovers. • The candidate will be responsible to implement ReCon and productivity initiatives pertaining to their focus area. • The candidate will be responsible to support Utilities Manager in delivery of CAPEX Spend pertaining to their focus area. • Flexibility and endurance in a challenging environment are the key for this job. • The candidate will be responsible to close actions pertaining to AIB/FS, PeMM and EHS in their focus area. • The incumbent should be able to work in all shifts as per requirement, including troubleshooting, breakdown response, root cause actions, and restoration of services. • The candidate will support Team Lead Utilities in optimizing operation of utilities to reduce cost of utilities. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and service providers to ensure timely maintenance execution, documentation quality, and safe working practices. • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager from time to time in line with site priorities Qualifications Diploma of Associate Engineering in Mechanical, 2-3 years of experience in similar capacity, capable to handle utilities operations independently.
