Principal responsibilities

• The following principal accountabilities are aligned to the Financial Crime Services and Processes Model.

• Provide risk steward advice to specialists across Group Financial Crime, Global Businesses, Group Financial Crime Detection, Group Digital Enablement, Regional FC, and countries (where required).
• Support implementation of a consistent and effective approach to the framework across HSBC globally.
• Provide effective oversight at the group level in relation to controls, reporting, risks, issues and actions across HSBC globally.
• Execute effective information sharing in relation Screening controls, reporting, risks, issues and actions across Group Financial Crime, Global Businesses, Group Financial Crime Detection, Group Digital Enablement, Regional FC, countries (where required).
• Facilitate the setting and application of global standards set through Global FC Policy or broader Non-Financial Risk standards in relation to the FC programme and framework.
• Meet HSBC’s strategic objectives in relation to the Group FC programme and framework.
• Act as the primary interface within Group FC risk discipline on screening-related matters.
• Update the Group Heads of AML,  Sanctions and FC Detection, as well as relevant risk committees on Group FC-screening related risk stewardship matters across the FC framework.
• Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders up to and including executive management across Group Financial Crime, Global Businesses, Group Financial Crime Detection, Group Digital Enablement, Regional FC and markets.
