Abaya Masters

We are looking for an experienced Abaya Master Tailor to lead the design and production of high-quality abayas for our client’s boutique in Qatar. The candidate should have exceptional skill in pattern making, cutting, stitching, and supervision of junior tailors, with a deep understanding of both traditional and modern abaya styles.

• Create and manage patterns, cuts, and stitching plans for all types of abayas.
  

  
  

• Supervise a team of tailors and ensure all garments are produced according to quality standards.
  

  
  

• Conduct fabric selection and advise on embellishments, embroidery, lace, and finishing details.
  

  
  

• Take measurements and oversee fitting sessions for clients.
  

  
  

• Manage workflow in the tailoring section to ensure timely completion of orders.
  

  
  

• Maintain consistency in design, fit, and finish across all garments.
  

  
  

• Train and guide assistant tailors and embroidery staff.
  

  
  

• Work closely with designers and management to implement new abaya collections and custom designs.
  

  
  

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Abaya Master or Senior Tailor.
  

  
  

• Strong expertise in cutting, pattern drafting, and advanced stitching techniques.
  

  
  

• Excellent understanding of Arabic fashion trends and women’s wear styling.
  

  
  

• Ability to manage and train a tailoring team.
  

  
  

• Attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills.
  

  
  

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
