Our client a leading company with an office in Qatar is looking for an Admin
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary Profile:
? Support management and staff to assist their business operations in terms of administrative, personnel, IT, legal and general affairs and provide a comfortable working environment and working culture for all employees to maximize their performances.
Key Responsibilities:
? Manage overall operation of General Administration.
? Responsible for HR matters – Preparation/amendment of employee agreements and/or handbooks, Staff mobilization and/or demobilization, Payroll, PRO (Mandoob) works.
? Responsible for office IT matters.
? Liaise and negotiate with landlords on office/housing rental matters and obtain appropriate internal approvals to execute rental agreements. Also manage/review company’s insurance policies.
? Manage Fixed and small assets.
? Company car and driver management.
? Provide administrative support to Finance department on accounting matters.
? Ensure regulatory compliance by managing regulatory approvals/submissions for the company’s smooth operation. Also, prepare / maintain appropriate records for internal audits.
? Keep up to date on regulatory/policy trends which directly or indirectly affect company’s business in Qatar and provide recommendations to the company to ensure smooth efficient operations.
? Managing general purchases.
? Any other ad hoc tasks.
Relationships:
? Other member staffs within the office including corporate, business and agency supplied.
? Counterpart staff of Head Quarter / Europe / Middle East and Africa
? Lawyers, Consultants and other Suppliers and Customers in Qatar.
? Governmental authorities.
? Clearing and forwarding agents, surveyors, etc.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Skills / Knowledge:
• A bright administration professional, with a flexible approach who enjoys a demanding office environment and works well under pressure.
• Good communications skills (verbal, written and listening) in English and integrity with high moral. Arabic language skills will be preferable.
• Good team working skills i.e. effectively interacting with colleagues in order to manage the total team workload whilst having the ability to work independently.
• Well-organized with the ability to prioritize and to use initiative, able to shift priorities within strict timeframes.
• Fundamental knowledge of Civil/Labour/Business Laws.
• Good conceptual and analytical competencies, team player, goal oriented, possessing desire to work for a fast paced, results-based company.
• Good command of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of basic finance and accounting, IT, logistics and legal affairs.
• Willingness to travel/entertain clients/customers when required..
Education:
• Bachelor degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
Total Monthly Salary:
• QAR 9000 ~ QAR 10,000 (depending on candidate’s potential/experience) including housing and transportation allowance.
Visa status:
• Transferrable Visa / NOC in Qatar
