Qatar Airways Cargo Revenue Management team as a
Cargo Inventory Analytics Specialist in our office in

The Inventory Analytics team supports in developing and setting a selection of inventory controls across the QR network (Passenger and Freighter flights). Support Cargo Inventory Analytics Manager in setting the optimal mix between allotment and free-sale capacity, overbooking levels and commercial controls while ensuring the developed strategies are successfully implemented.
As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
Analyse and implement optimal levels of allocation capacity across the QR cargo network on a seasonal basis to reduce exposure to market fluctuations while benefitting from ad-hoc demand. Analyse and set commercial entry parameters for structural demand such as RFQs or allocations in order to filter our the most beneficial flows for long term support, both on freighters and passenger flights. Analyse and set commercial entry parameters for ad-hoc demand, adjusting the entry requirements for market fluctuations in order to maximize the revenue potential of QR cargo capacity. Develop and suggest initiatives to improve the setting of commercial controls by conducting data analysis and running optimization models, striving for continuous improvement. Communicate new or updated inventory control initiatives developed by the Inventory Analytics team to regional stakeholders and among the wider Revenue Management team, ensuring there is understanding and support for such initiatives among key stakeholders. Define seasonal impact of payload limitations for any impacted route(s) across the network, set capacity management controls in order to optimize this capacity season long. Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications
About you Master’s/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum of 4 years of job- related experience Proven track record of working with data science tools (such as R, SQL, Python etc.) Excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing Knowledge of air cargo revenue management, pricing, or business development is preferred. Proven experience leading and implementing improvement initiatives in an organisation is an advantage.
