The Data Governance Manager will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the data governance framework within SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and SAP MDG environment. The role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity, quality, compliance, and accessibility of data across the enterprise, leading the development and implementation of data standards, policies, and procedures, and collaborate with various business units to promote data stewardship and quality.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework that scientifically measures data quality and aligns with organizational objectives.
Lead the management of enterprise data standards, policies, and procedures within our SAP ecosystem.
Oversee the strategic use of SAP MDG and other Data governance tools like Informatica to ensure high data quality and consistency across business processes.
Facilitate the establishment of a data stewardship program and promote a culture of accountability for data quality.
Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to implement data governance initiatives within S/4HANA and SuccessFactors.
Monitor compliance with data governance policies and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence.
Drive continuous improvement in data governance practices, leveraging SAP tools and other industry best practices.
Lead cross-functional teams and initiatives to resolve data governance-related issues.
Provide training and guidance on data governance principles and SAP data management tools
Extensive experience with data governance in an SAP environment, Informatica or related data management solutions specifically on S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and SAP MDG.
Strong understanding of data management principles, data quality standards, and compliance requirements. SAP certifications or training related to data governance and MDG.
Experience with data privacy regulations and compliance e.g., GDPR, CCPA (Preferred). Solid experience with data governance tools and technologies like Informatica
Ability to create clear and informative visualizations using tools like Tableau, or Power BI to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Awareness of ethical concerns related to data privacy, security, bias, and fairness in data analysis and model development.
Understanding of business processes related to Construction and Contracting, Food and Beverage, Real Estate and Healthcare industries (any one or two of these).
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
