Driver-Helper

About the role

In this interesting role, you will be responsible in supporting the senior staff to ensure smooth operation within the section and the shift. You will be responsible for securing and transporting daily food and non-food requirements from various outlets through-out Mid-field Kitchen to HIA and DIA area. In this role will work closely with the Team leader and Production members with securing other assigned outlets at any time of the day and night, and transport them at the right temperatures and in proper hygienic conditions.

To achieve success in this role you will need to:

• Check the product for quality, quantity, production and expiry dates before accepting
• Transport the products at the right temperature, i.e., frozen in frozen condition, chilled in chilled condition and dry in dry condition, and to ensure that the products are delivered to the unit at the required temperature.
• Attend to additional and emergency orders which are to be collected from different outlets.
• Transport goods from various food production to HIA and Mid field Main Kitchen.
• Promptness and alertness are two essential requirements.
• Deliver goods on time within the correct time Frame.

You should have a Basic Literacy and Numeracy skills, English communication skills and atleast 1 - 2 years relevant work experience.

In addition, you will have the following job specific skills:

• Matriculate with valid Qatar Light vehicle Driving License.
• Knowledge of English read, write and speak.
• Good spoken & written English.
