Economic Specialist

Location: Doha, Qatar.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Economic Specialist to support key projects involving economic analysis and market simulations. The ideal candidate will have approximately 10 years of experience and the ability to analyze complex economic interactions, assess policy impacts, and provide data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making within the Ministry.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct economic analysis and simulate market dynamics to provide insights for strategic decisions within the Ministry.
• Perform economic impact assessments to support policy development and decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to collect, verify, and analyze economic data, developing comprehensive and accurate reports.
• Monitor economic indicators and trends, providing recommendations to inform strategic planning and policy formulation.
• Utilize descriptive analytics and visualization tools to draw actionable insights from economic data.

Requirements:

• ~10 years of experience in economic analysis, policy assessment, or related fields.
• Strong experience in conducting market simulations and analyzing economic interactions.
• Ability to perform economic impact assessments to support policy development.
• Excellent skills in data collection, verification, and economic report generation.
• Proficiency in using data analytics and visualization tools to derive insights from economic data.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and convey economic findings effectively.
