We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Procurement Agent with a robust background in the furniture and home appliances industry. Key Responsibilities


  1. Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers with a strong track record in the furniture and home appliances sector.
  • Build and sustain long-term, value-driven relationships with vendors and manufacturers to ensure consistent product quality and delivery.
  • Conduct comprehensive supplier assessments, focusing on cost, quality, delivery reliability, and ethical practices.
Procurement Leadership
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives to maximize efficiency and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, sales, and logistics, to ensure procurement aligns with organizational needs.
  • Manage high-value contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and operational requirements.
Negotiation and Cost Optimization
  • Lead high-stakes negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and long-term contracts.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement innovative solutions without compromising quality.
  • Monitor market trends, currency fluctuations, and commodity pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
Operational Excellence
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase orders, shipment tracking, and supplier payments.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods, resolving any delays or discrepancies with urgency and efficiency.
  • Optimize inventory management by forecasting demand and minimizing excess stock or shortages.
Compliance and Reporting
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations.
  • Maintain meticulous records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier communications.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, with a focus on furniture and home appliances.
    • Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar procurement portfolios.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in procurement systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
    • Advanced knowledge of supply chain optimization and contract management.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work under pressure and deliver in fast-paced environments.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
