Project Controls Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead project monitoring and control activities, ensuring effective project execution and alignment with organizational objectives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing risk-based scheduling, cost control, and performance tracking within complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of project control systems and methodologies
• Monitor project progress, cost, and risk to ensure timely and within-budget delivery
• Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with senior leadership
• Oversee reporting of project KPIs and performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with contractual frameworks such as FIDIC and implementation of risk registers (ERR)

Skills

• Skilled in risk-based scheduling, cost control, KPI tracking, and project performance analysis
• Hands-on experience with FIDIC contracts and ERR (Event Risk Register) implementation
• Proficient in Primavera (P6), MS Project, SAP, and related project control tools
• Strong communication skills with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and advise senior leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field; Master’s preferred
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in EPC or infrastructure projects
• Experience in the Middle East region is highly regarded
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage
