Senior Accountant

Financial Accounting:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries.
• Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and balance sheets.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare periodic financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
• Assist in preparing management reports and supporting schedules.

Audit and Compliance:

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS or GAAP) and regulatory requirements.

Accounts Management:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Monitor and manage fixed assets, accruals, and depreciation schedules.

Tax Compliance:

• Prepare and review tax filings, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
• Assist with VAT/GST filings and corporate tax calculations.

Process Improvement:

• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
• Identify areas for process automation or improvement to enhance efficiency.

Support and Collaboration:

• Work closely with finance and operational teams to provide accurate financial data.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
