Server & Storage Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Server & Storage Engineer to support infrastructure operations in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. This role involves administering server platforms, managing backups, and ensuring reliable IT services across critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux servers, including virtualization platforms such as VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper-V
• Perform patch management, antivirus updates, and backup/restore operations
• Respond to and resolve infrastructure incidents efficiently
• Support infrastructure-related projects, ensuring compliance with IT standards and procedures
• Maintain high service availability in a 24/7 operational environment

Skills

• Strong knowledge of server environments (Windows/Linux) and enterprise virtualization platforms
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible
• Capable of managing backup solutions, patching tools, and antivirus systems
• Effective communication, coordination, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in infrastructure support within high-availability environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or high school equivalent in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
• 1 to 3 years of experience in guest relations, front office, or customer service roles
• Presentable and confident with a courteous demeanor
• Team player with high emotional intelligence, cultural sensitivity, and a proactive attitude
• Full-time position with an all-inclusive package based in Qatar
