TS Systems Engineer ( Project Management, Physical Security Systems)

Job Purpose

You will be responsible for project planning, management, installation, testing & Commissioning of Physical Security System infra for QR residential and commercial buildings.

In addition, candidate should be experienced with preparation of project charter, resource allocation including 24 X 7 support to ensure business continuity.

Roles and responsibilities

As Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for helping us achieve the following:

• Project Management and Planning, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Physical Security Systems
• Strong caliber and skills in Project Document, Chartering, Resource Allocation and Utilization.
• Provide Planning, Design, Technology Enhancements and Supportfor various physical security systems (PSS) installed across Qatar Airways Group including Customer Support.
• Day to day assistance for maintenance related services of PSS installed across various QR group facilities.
• Coordinate with different internal and external stakeholders including OEM/vendor for 24X7 support, management and timely project completion.
• Supervision of technical testing, survey or field engineering teams.
• Preparation of designs, drawings, plans and specifications for projects, engineered systems, technicalequipment or components.
• Coordination with vendors for site survey, infrastructure requirement and finalization of BOQ
• Technical support for PSS for Residential and Commercial Facilities.
• Ensure uptime of Security equipment based on response time and resolution of calls.
• Technical expertise in liaison with Ministry of Interior Security System Department for Design and Approval of CCTV System in compliance to Law 9 specifications/regulations.

About you

• Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor’s level
• Degree in Electronics/Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of job-relevant experience required
• Project Management Certification and Skills - preferred
• In depth knowledge about federal and centralized Access Control System hardware, configuration and system management.
• Exposure to Video Management System, CCTV Cameras and Advanced Video Analytics System
• With excellent documentation skills, the candidate must have good written and spoken business English.
• Basic Knowledge on Networking & Electronics
