Data Engineer with German

We are seeking a Data Engineer with German, who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.

What will help you succeed:

• Implement and operate robust ETL/ELT and data ingestion (CI/CD) pipelines. Orchestrate end-to-end jobs and implement event-driven processing;

  
  

• Design and maintain scalable data architectures and data models across cloud environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud); ensure quality, security, and performance;

  
  

• Implement streaming and batch workloads with Big Data technologies such as Spark (including Streaming), Kafka, Hive/Impala, and NoSQL systems;

  
  

• Transform and refine data in SQL as well as in Python, Java, or Scala; automate recurring tasks with Scripts and ensure reproducible, high-performance processes;

  
  

• Implement and operate ML algorithms and pipelines from feature pipeline to serving; integrate AI cloud services such as AWS SageMaker, AWS Bedrock, and Azure OpenAI;

  
  

• Build, operate, and optimize vector databases for AI-powered applications and retrieval-augmented workloads;

  
  

• Operate data- and model-centric workloads on EKS and ensure reliable orchestration, scaling, and stability;

  
  

• Anchor Security by Default in data pipelines (clean secret handling, access controls) and ensure compliance;

  
  

• Provide observability for data workloads (metrics, logs, traces), define alerts, and maintain runbooks; support incident response and postmortems.
