Salla looking for accountant who is responsible for accounting, reconciliation, and reporting related to logistics operations, including revenue and cost management, billing, collections, and merchant compensations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Management:
o Accurately calculate logistics-related revenues.
o Reconcile revenues with invoices and resolve discrepancies.
o Record and monitor deferred revenue.
2. Cost Management:
o Reconcile vendor invoices with internal records.
o Process and record cost of goods sold (COGS) entries.
o Ensure timely payments to vendors.
3. Receivables Management:
o Generate and issue invoices for logistics partners as per agreements.
o Follow up on outstanding receivables and ensure timely collections.
o Maintain and update the aging analysis of receivables.
o Prepare detailed reports on collections and outstanding balances for management.
4. Merchant Compensation:
o Process merchant refunds and credit notes.
o Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve pending requests.
5. Cash on Delivery (COD):
o Reconcile COD collections with contractual terms.
o Ensure accurate recording and reporting.
6. Reporting and Reconciliation:
o Prepare periodic reconciliations for logistics-related transactions.
o Generate reports on billing, collections, and revenue analysis.
o Ensure records are audit-ready and compliant with accounting standards.
