Chief Engineer

CHIEF ENGINEER- SAUDI ARABIA

We are on the hunt for an experienced Chief Engineer looking for their next opportunity. The Chief Engineer will beresponsible for assisting the DOE in the cost-effective and efficient management of the overall performance and day-to-day operations of the establishment. Additionally, the Chief Engineerwill also be responsible for the day-to-day facility in accordance with agreed plans and strategies.

Role brief:

• Oversee the repair and maintenance of all hotel assets, including mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and structural components.
• Create, implement, and manage a proactive, cost-effective maintenance schedule for guest rooms and public areas.
• Ensure all facilities comply with fire, health, and safety regulations, including conducting regular safety inspections and managing life/safety equipment.
• Supervise, train, and mentor the engineering team, assigning daily tasks and work orders.
• Prepare and manage capital and repairs/maintenance budgets; negotiate with contractors and vendors for services.
• Respond promptly to guest complaints regarding room maintenance issues.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience, preferably with relevant experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage emergency situations.

Salary package: SAR 8500 - 10000 + benefits
