Your day involves performing precise welding and fabrication tasks to repair, modify, and maintain industrial components and equipment, while adhering to safety and quality standards and collaborating with your team to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform various welding tasks (MIG, TIG, Stick, Arc) and prepare surfaces and materials for welding.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine repair procedures and conduct post-weld inspections for quality.
• Maintain and inspect welding equipment, reporting malfunctions or safety hazards, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Document all work performed, including materials used and time spent, while ensuring proper record storage.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and supervisors to resolve repair issues and improve processes.
• Stay updated on advancements in welding technology and participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in welding preferred.
• Valid welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME) and at least 3 years of welding experience in a repair or industrial setting.
• Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Arc) and skilled in using welding equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, knowledge of safety standards, and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Good manual dexterity, physical capability for welding tasks, and effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting purposes.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
