Scope
The regional commercial marketing lead will play a critical role in driving lead generation, tracking marketing performance, and conducting ongoing market insight and analysis for their assigned region. This role is essential for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that align with our global commercial goals and enhance our competitive position in the market.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with a proven track record in generating high-quality leads, driving revenue growth, market analysis, and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of regional markets and customer requirements through market research, analysis of market data, collaboration with local sales teams, and familiarity with PSA BDP’s product and vertical USPs. Leverage these insights to develop and implement effective marketing strategies and content tailored to the region.
- Analyze market trends and local competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
- Maintain ongoing collaboration with sales and product teams, and regional leadership, to ensure alignment and support for key initiatives, such as targeted campaigns for local markets; and act as the liaison between the regional team and global marketing team.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for regional marketing activities.
- Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Use data to make informed decisions and optimize marketing efforts to improve ROI.
- Work in close partnership with regional operations leadership to understand operational capabilities and limitations, trade regulations, market updates and supply chain disruptions impacting the region.
- Adapt global marketing materials for the regional or country-specific audiences.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of compelling marketing content tailored to the regional audience consistent with brand guidelines and messaging standards.
- Identify new and innovative ways for increasing brand awareness in the region and create engaging regional content for social media, email marketing, blogs, and local press.
- Partner closely with global marketing team to identify regional events, such as tradeshows and speaking engagements opportunities; lead regional marketing support for global webinars and identify opportunities for regional/local webinars; and identify contacts and prospects for PSA BDP hosted events in the region, and track customer engagement and opportunities for these events.
- Identify best practices in the region and share learnings with the global marketing team.
- Manage the regional commercial marketing budget and allocate resources effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on lead generation and market analysis.
- Proven experience in tracking and reporting marketing performance metrics.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and digital marketing platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in the logistics and supply chain industry is preferred.
