We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Accountant to manage and maintain the company’s expense records. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks and WPS (Wages Protection System) and have experience handling accounts payable functions, including expense logging, payroll arrangements, and petty cash disbursement tracking. This role also includes basic administrative duties and management of employee loan disbursements and advance salary requests.


Key Responsibilities:


Expense Management:


  • Accurately log and categorize company expenses in QuickBooks.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all financial transactions related to accounts payable.

Petty Cash Management:


  • Monitor and track petty cash disbursements.
  • Reconcile petty cash balances regularly.

Payroll Management:


  • Arrange and process payroll using WPS.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of employee salaries.

Employee Loan and Advance Salary Requests:


  • Handle requests for employee loans and salary advances in line with company policies.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for all disbursements.

Accounts Payable:


  • Process and verify invoices for payment.
  • Ensure all payments are made on time and accurately.

Administrative Duties:


  • Provide general administrative support as needed.
  • Assist in preparing reports and maintaining organized financial records.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an accounts payable or similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with WPS is mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Working Conditions:


  • Full-time position.
  • Office-based role with standard working hours.
