Title: Commissioning Engineer - Field Services 
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (On site)

I&S uses the electrical and technical products of other Siemens Groups in order to enhance productivity and improve competitiveness in the sectors of metallurgy, water treatment, pulp and paper, oil and gas, marine engineering, open-cast mining, intelligent traffic systems, airport logistics, postal automation and industrial services. 

In your role as commissioning engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical power engineering systems in O&G projects around the world. 

Your Role – International, Challenging and Future-Oriented!

You will take on your own field of responsibility for commissioning power engineering system components in MV substations. 
In addition to commissioning work, you will take on service assignments around the world (fault analysis and troubleshooting) and the training of operating personnel.
Your work will also involve:
- a high level of responsibility on site 
- direct contact with the customer 
- cooperation in international and interdisciplinary teams on site
- living and working in foreign cultures
- cooperation with other departments at Siemens 

Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid!

A degree in electrical engineering / power engineering / high voltage engineering or a related subject is required 
Knowledge/languages
- Fluent in English 
- Other languages are desirable
Experience
- Professional experience in the relevant field is a precondition.
- Intercultural experience gained by traveling or stays in European or non-European countries is an advantage
- Expert knowledge in commissioning of Siemens MV SWG (NXAIR, 8DA10, Sivacon S8) and protection systems
Min 5 years’ experience in O&G Projects and working On & OFF-Shore

Additional information
As a commissioning engineer for electrical power engineering systems, you will work on construction sites across the world. This will involve short and extended stays away from home. The job therefore calls for unrestricted mobility and excellent health conditions.
