Dubai Holding is looking to hire a Senior Manager – Corporate Communications reporting to the Executive Director – Corporate Communications at Dubai Holding Corporate Office. The job holder will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting Dubai Holding’s reputation and building awareness of the company’s role in the growth and development of Dubai. This role involves providing strategic counsel, managing key initiatives and collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to ensure the effective implementation of internal and external communications programmes.

Key Accountabilities:
Corporate Communications Strategic Planning:
- Provide strategic counsel to on communications-related matters.
- Design and oversee the execution of communication campaigns aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute communication plans for major corporate developments and transactions.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content for various communication channels, including press releases, speeches, reports and social media.
- Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to ensure consistency in corporate messaging and brand positioning.
- Monitor industry trends and adjust communication strategies to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
- Support the development of the strategic communications program to deliver on Dubai Holding’s business objectives and enhance awareness of its core role in the growth of Dubai’s economy.
- Create comprehensive messaging that resonates with Dubai Holding’s stakeholders, and ensure effective channels are utilised to deliver messages to them.
- Assist in the development of internal and external content, including the development of social media captions/content.
Stakeholder Management:
- Develop and implement stakeholder communication plans to support business objectives.
- Provide strategic communications support on major issues relating to verticals within the Dubai Holding Group.
- Develop and distribute regular updates Group-wide and to key stakeholders to keep them informed about company initiatives and developments.
- Support the leadership and key functions, such as Human Capital, in shaping the organisation's culture through emphasising key strategic messages, promoting strategy and inspiring employee engagement across the company.
Agency & Crisis Management:
- Support the selection process of external media agencies, including developing the PR RFP and agency selection in line with procurement guidelines.
- Provide clear communications brief to media agencies to ensure they understand to gain a clear understanding of the communication intent and objective.
- Set KPIs for PR and communications agencies and manage their day-to-day delivery and budgets.
- Ensure internal stakeholders’ satisfaction with the agency services and address any issues on a regular basis.
- Oversee the performance of the external media agencies to ensure they deliver within agreed timelines, quality standards and budget.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key monitoring & social listening agencies and key media contacts platforms.
- Craft, sustain and manage Dubai Holdings reputation through proactive planning and effective management of issues and be on the forefront in advising leadership team in managing potential PR issues.
- Monitor and manage the company’s public image and address any potential reputational risks.
Special Projects:
- Lead special communication projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
- Develop and execute crisis communication plans to manage and mitigate reputational risks.
- Support internal teams with communication needs for major projects and initiatives.
- Oversee the production of corporate publications, including annual reports and sustainability reports.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive communication strategies for special projects.
- Identify opportunities for innovation in corporate communications and implement new approaches and technologies.
- Deliver on ad-hoc business requirements as needed.
Reporting:
- Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of communication strategies and initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on communication activities and outcomes for senior management.
- Track media coverage and report on public perception and sentiment.
- Ensure the delivery of the annual report in a timely manner, including other ongoing programs including media reviews, sentiment reports, and coverage reports etc.
- Utilise analytics tools to measure the impact of communication campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly
- Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to communication efforts and recommend improvements.
- Present findings and insights to senior team members to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Provide regular market and industry updates to management and monitor the media continuously, taking action as required
Who we are looking for:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in in corporate communications, or PR
- Experience of living and working in the Middle East is required. Experience in communications/public relations departments, preferably with an agency background
Education / Professional Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing or Public Affairs or related field.
Technical Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to read, write and speak Arabic.
- Experience dealing with local and international media.
- Ability to manage complex projects involving many stakeholders.
- Confident of interacting with senior leadership team.
- Experience dealing with government and public affairs issues.
