The Marketing Communications Director for Dubai is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing communications strategy that drives conversion among UAE travelers for Saudi tourism. This role involves a 360-degree view of all communications in the Turkish market, encompassing campaigns, PR, brand activations, content development, social media, and influencer engagement. The director will leverage their expertise in tourism marketing, strategy, and execution to maximize knowledge and consideration of Saudi (Leisure, Umrah and Umrah Plus), ultimately increasing visitation and in-destination spend.
Planning and Strategy • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing communications strategy for the Dubai market, aligned with Client's overall objectives and targets. • Identify key target segments and develop tailored messaging and communication approaches for each segment. • Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities. • Collaborate with regional and global marketing teams to ensure alignment and synergy in messaging and campaigns. Budget • Assist in the development and management of the marketing communications budget for UAE • Track and report on budget utilization, campaign performance, and return on investment (ROI). • Ensure that marketing initiatives are delivered on time and within budget. Job Specific Accountabilities • Oversee the execution of all marketing communications activities in UAE including campaigns, PR, brand activations, content development, social media, and influencer engagement. • Collaborate with agencies and partners to develop and execute creative campaigns that resonate with UAE travelers. • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven adjustments as needed. • Develop and maintain a strong brand presence for Saudi tourism in the Dubai market. • Identify and leverage opportunities for media coverage and PR exposure. • Build and maintain relationships with key influencers and media outlets in UAE • Support marketing partner engagement, events, and roadshows in UAE as needed. People Management • This position does not have direct reports. • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve Client's goals. • Promote a high-performance cross-collaborative working environment embracing Client’s values General Accountabilities • This is a remote position with the requirement to work from the Dubai representative office. • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in marketing communications and the tourism industry. • Represent Clients at industry events and conferences in Dubai and the region. • Provide regular reports on marketing performance and insights to senior management.
RequirementsRequirements
8+ years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in the tourism or hospitality industry.
Proven track record of success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
Deep understanding of the UAE market and consumer behavior.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant marketing tools.
