Job Purpose

Ensures smooth functioning and optimization of the academy’s Learning Management System (LMS) used for the training programs. Maintains a positive learning experience for users by ensuring the LMS is reliable, accessible, and up to date.




Key Result Responsibilities
  • Manages and maintains the LMS platform; installs, configures, and updates the LMS, ensuring its optimal performance and security.
  • Creates and manages user accounts, setting up instructor and student accounts, ensuring proper access and permissions are provided to the relevant users.
  • Collaborates with the Training and Academic Quality team to develop and manage online course contents, ensuring seamless integration of training materials into the LMS.
  • Uploads, organizes, and maintains training materials and assessments within the LMS.
  • Addresses any technical issues with the LMS promptly and efficiently, providing support to users.


Key Result Responsibilities - Continued
  • Prepares reports on LMS usage, user activity, and course completion rates to identify areas of improvement and monitor student progress.
  • Learns and adopts new features and industry standards into the LMS system, continuously keeping it updated.
  • Assists and trains users to use the LMS system when required.
  • Oversees the gateway for the online payment systems.
  • Performs any additional duties as directed by the line manager.


Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field
  • Proven experience managing LMS platforms.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols and security best practices relevant to online learning platforms.
  • Experience in installing, configuring, updating, and managing complex software systems.
  • Strong understanding of online learning environments and best practices.


Work Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, handling similar tasks.
  • Knowledge of databases and report generating using relevant tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Basic understanding of aviation terminology, regulations, and requirements.
