Machinist

Job Title: Machinist (Turner / Lathe Operator)

We are looking for an experienced Machinist with a background in the steel industry. The candidate should have hands-on experience operating turning or lathe machines and be able to produce precision components as per drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up lathe/turner machines for machining steel components

  
  

• Read and understand technical drawings and measurements

  
  

• Ensure accuracy, quality, and safety in all machining operations

  
  

• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting

  
  

• Meet production targets and quality standards

  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Machinist in a steel company

  
  

• Strong experience in operating lathe or turning machines

  
  

• Knowledge of measuring tools (vernier, micrometer, etc.)

  
  

• Ability to work independently and in a team

  
  

• ITI / Diploma in Machining or relevant trade is preferred
