Mechanical Engineer - Fire Fighting

Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer specializing in fire fighting systems to design, develop, and oversee the installation of fire protection systems in buildings.
Job Responsibility:
- Designing and developing fire protection systems based on project requirements and local regulations.
- Conducting site surveys to assess the building's needs and potential risks.
- Overseeing the installation of fire protection systems and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate fire protection systems into building designs.
- Testing and maintaining fire protection systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients and team members on fire protection systems.
Candidate Requirements:
- UAE/MOFA attested Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in designing and installing fire protection systems.
- Familiarity with local fire safety codes and regulations.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Professional certification in fire protection engineering (optional but preferred).

In-depth knowledge of fire protection systems and equipment
- Proficiency in designing and implementing fire suppression systems
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards related to fire safety
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop fire safety plans
- Proficient in CAD software for designing fire protection systems
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot fire protection issues
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients
