MSS Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MSS Engineering Manager to lead and manage our Managed Security Services (MSS) engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of security technologies, engineering best practices, and the ability to oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of security solutions for our clients. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to improving the security posture of the organization.

• Lead and manage a team of MSS engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative security solutions.
  
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of security infrastructure, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and best practices.
  
• Ensure effective management of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM platforms, and other core security tools.
  
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team on complex security issues, offering solutions to meet both internal and client needs.
  
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., SOC, product development) to ensure that security engineering efforts are integrated into broader business and security strategies.
  
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of systems deployed for clients.
  
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and integrate them into the organization’s security strategy.
  
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, focusing on professional growth and development of engineering staff.
  

• 9 to 12 years of relevant experience in security engineering, with a focus on Managed Security Services (MSS).
  
• In-depth knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and other critical security platforms.
  
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams, including project management, resource allocation, and team performance optimization.
  
• Strong understanding of network security principles, cloud security, and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).
  
• Hands-on experience with security architecture design, security protocols, and incident response.
  
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement integrated security solutions.
  
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Leadership and mentorship experience in guiding engineering teams through technical challenges and driving innovation.
