We are seeking a Sales Manager (Sales Executive) based in Dubai with experience in supporting a global company. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director for MEA, this role will be responsible for driving business growth while mentoring the sales team.
What you get to do:New Business Opportunities:
- Develop the overall sales and business development plans to increase service penetration and boost margins and volumes.
- Build sales strategies using local market expertise to maximise go-to-market resources and execute key opportunities.
- Develop strategies for identifying and pursuing new business prospects.
Pipeline Development:
- Work closely with the Regional Director to target key markets and prospects.
- Develop an annual sales pipeline with prospects and targets.
- Generate metrics and sales insights from trend, pipeline, and segmentation analysis to drive better business outcomes.
Client Relationship Management:
- Diagnose prospect needs and advise on the appropriate product or service solutions.
- Own the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract signing.
- Nurture and manage regional pipeline opportunities to achieve sales targets.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Manage complex commercial negotiations.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and finance teams as needed.
- Take responsibility for sales tasks, including client contract signature.
Sales Targets:
- Execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Grow Paymentology’s customer base in the region.
RequirementsWhat it takes to succeed:
- 8+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, and partnerships in the Middle East.
- Knowledge of the cards and payments industry, and the issuing industry in particular.
- Strong network with fintechs, digital players, and banks, with experience negotiating at the C-level.
- Skilled in creating dashboards and delivering actionable insights for management and sales teams.
- A hands-on leader with a balance of strategic planning and execution.
- Proven track record in managing and driving sales teams.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a creative problem-solving approach and high energy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
